Dogs and Ski Trails

This page is where more information will be posted about dogs in the snopark. But it’s just been started.

The Anderson Trail and Hannegan Pass Trail are the two trails designated as ‘dog friendly’ in the Salmon Ridge SnoPark. Dogs are not allowed on the other groomed trails of the snopark (as posted on the official state snopark map.)

Expectations include: cleaning up after your pet (no one likes to ski over ‘brown klister’), keeping your dog from bothering other users (some people are scared of dogs, little kids don’t like them jumping on them, etc.)

‘Brown Klister’ – dog poo after the groomer went over it. Come on now, dog owners! You can do better than this!
